WHO ARE WE?

Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) is a public higher education institution offering a broad range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in disciplines such as agriculture, forestry, life sciences, and environmental studies. The Faculty of Environmental Sciences (FZP) at CZU provides education and research programs centered on environmental management, conservation, and sustainability. FZP offers degree programs covering subjects such as ecology, environmental engineering, landscape planning and management, and sustainable resource use, including water resources and climate change adaptation. The faculty supports rigorous scientific investigation with dedicated research facilities and laboratories that examine environmental processes and human impacts. Additionally, FZP emphasizes the development and implementation of nature-based solutions to enhance resilience and promote sustainable practices. By collaborating with local, national, and international organizations, the faculty ensures that its research and educational initiatives directly address current environmental challenges and contribute practical insights for both policy development and real-world applications.
